Environmental Psychology is concerned with the impact our surroundings have on our mental well-being. This project is a case study and design response to real combination of comorbid psychological conditions. It aims to create an environment that carefully balances protection from triggers and gentle exposure as a complimentary part of professional treatment. Readiness to help those in need is important but is difficult to maintain. If we begin to design opportunities for growth into our dwellings – we could influence mental health and well-being for the better.

Considering what the client wants while also creating a design response to what the user needs.

Parramatta CBD

Westfield Parramatta being the central location of Sydney used to be famous for being the biggest shopping centre in Southern hemisphere. While the whole Parramatta CBD is racing for vertical expansion, Scentre Group have only proposed 20 to 40 levels of commercial offices and two levels of retail and carpark spaces since established in 2014.

Retail industry is long due for new business model development, with Amazon launched last year, Uber eat became household tools, and people with their smart gadget addiction.

This project is intended to make a landmark for Parramatta and hence the possibility of new CBD for Sydney metropolitan area.
